It can be the site of an irritant contact dermatitis or allergic contact dermatitis if exposed to certain chemicals or allergens. This parasite infection is often concentrated at the webspace of the fingers and causes a very itchy, raised rash. Scabies most often affects children but can be very contagious and can spread from child to adult.
