Child, Male, Leg (Edit search)

Displayed below are photos of skin diseases common to the legs of children. In the summertime, legs are often exposed and, therefore, more vulnerable to bites and stings from bugs. Exposed legs are also prone to poison ivy, which causes an oozing and itchy rash. Keratosis is common on the legs and displays as small white bumps, typically over the back of the legs. Itchy rashes can be caused by contact with an irritant or a fungus, or by an auto immune disease. Boils and folliculitis, which are pus-filled bumps often caused by an ingrown hair or some other kind of irritation or friction, can be seen on the legs. Stretch marks (striae) are the result of rapid weight gain or weigh loss and are usually seen on the stomach and the legs.
