Child, Male, Sole (Edit search)
The sole of the foot is the bottom of the foot. The images on this page refer to this area of the body and the skin conditions associated with it particular to children. The sole is in contact with dirty shoes and socks as well as the bare ground, and so it is susceptible to a variety of rashes. Plantar warts are commonly found on the sole. Pitted keratolysis, which gives off an unpleasant order, is a bacterial infection found on the bottom of the foot; athlete's foot is a fungal infection; and hand-foot-and-mouth disease is a viral infection. All 3 of the aforementioned types of infectious causes of rashes are found on the sole. Dyshidrotic dermatitis and juvenile plantar dermatosis are itchy rashes that are specific to the sole.
