Adult, Female, Genitalia (Edit search)

The images below contain links to information about the conditions that may affect the skin around the genitals and anus in adults. Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are usually the most concerning of the conditions found in these areas. Herpes and syphilis can cause the skin to break down, resulting in open sores (ulcers). Molluscum contagiosum and genital warts will cause growths. Chlamydia and gonorrhea can cause vaginal discharge and pain. Pubic lice, which some call crabs, can infest the pubic hair and cause itchy bites. There are many other conditions common in the skin on or around the genitals and anus that are not the result of STDs. For example, rashes from exposure to chemicals are common. Tinea cruris, commonly called jock itch, is a rash caused by a fungus, often in the groin area. Please note that the pictures below are of an explicit nature before clicking the image fields.
